Our VisionWBMAF's vision is to establish lasting support for visual arts education. We have been able to do so through the creation of an endowed visual arts college scholarship which is awarded annually. The Westra Bye Memorial and Art Educators' Scholarship was established to offset expenses for students pursuing post-secondary art education. Application for this scholarship can be made through the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation.
WBMAF's current support programs include a college scholarship, a college art supply stipend, financial support for art class material fees and portfolio and exhibition preparation for students with financial need. Our future vision includes providing K-12 visual arts educational opportunities such as guest artists, art workshops, and summer programs, etc. |
